Welcome September

Can you believe we’ve reached Month 9 of 2022?

Wishing you all the best as summer fades away and fall begins to creep back into our lives. We get the pleasure of enjoying ALL the seasons here as residents of the PNW but won’t see the glorious changes of our surroundings for another month or so. In the interim, I appreciate seeing school supplies highlighted in every store and life settling back into a routine. As much as I prefer no time constraints and quality time spent with the people I love most in this world, there’s something safe and comforting about the redundancy fall inevitably brings.

Soak this first day of September in. The last quarter of the year. The end of one chapter and start of a new, if you will.

XOXO, Katie πŸ’›

P.S. I know SO many people with September (and October) birthdays so Happy Birthday to all the Virgo’s ♍️ and Libra’s β™ŽοΈ in my life!

      • Yes I am in the Okanagan valley in British Columbia. A small city called Penticton which means “A place to live forever”. This city sits between two different lakes, one at the south and another at the north. Thanksgiving is early October and it often lands on my birthday.

      • I’ve never been to Canada. It’s so close to me so I hope to be able to. I just Googled Penticton and the Okanagan Valley and it looks dreamy!

      • After one month of living here from the city I told my wife I’ve added ten years to my life already. I cut my commute down (30 years ago) from two hours or so a day to about 30 minutes a day and that was riding by bike! I do love my little city. Of course I have visited some spots in the USA that I enjoyed as well and we are neighbours after all. But coming home I look down on the lakes and am glad to be home.
